Custom Black & White Prints
Custom Black & White Prints are produced on medium weight
RC paper from black and white original negatives. Cropping, dodging, burning
and contrast control combine to allow the creation of top quality prints
on your choice of glossy or matt surface paper. Prints can be made borderless
or with normal borders. If you wish special borders or need PPS to follow
precise cropping, dodging, burning, contrast or sizing instructions or
match your print as closely as possible, please order Exhibition B&W
prints.
Custom Black & White Prints from Color Negatives
Black and white prints from color negatives are produced
on medium weight RC paper from color original negatives using a variety
of materials and methods. Dodging, burning and contrast control combine
to allow the creation of top quality prints on your choice of glossy or
matt surface paper. It is however advisable whenever possible to use a
black & white negative to create black & white
prints in order to allow the greatest control of the quality in the finished
print. We will follow your cropping instructions as closely as possible,
however if you need critical cropping or specific sizing of an object in
the print please order an Exhibition B&W Print.
Exhibition Black & White Prints
Exhibition black & white prints are produced from
b&w negatives using the utmost skill and care. These are our finest black
& white prints. The negative can be cropped, dodged,
burned and sized to your specifications. We can also match your print
as closely as possible. These procedures combine to allow the creation
of top quality prints with best retention of highlight and shadow detail
on your choice of glossy or matt surface paper.
