After the prints are made they can be mounted on a variety of materials to
protect and display them.
PPS can mount on single or double weight
mountboard, foamcore, gatorfoam, sintra or virtually any other flat
board up to 1" thick.
SW BOARD - cardboard product slightly less than 1/16" thick.
DW BOARD - cardboard product approximately 3/32" thick.
FOAMCORE - foam covered by paper on both sides, light weight, excellent mounting board,
but fragile, likely to bow unless supported.
GATORFOAM - foam covered by paper on both sides but tougher and more durable than foamcore, light weight,
excellent mounting board, much more likely to remain flat & rigid.
SINTRA - moderately expanded PVC sheet, lighter than plexiglass and more durable than foamboards,
excellent mounting board, thinner sheets flexible and able to be bent into curve, heavier sheets much more rigid.
